BILATERAL BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES IN THE POST-PANDEMIC

July 12, 2020

With many companies facing business challenges from the current economic recession due to COVID-19, the International Trade and Logistics Committee of the Brazil California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) will be hosting a one hour webinar with special guest speakers and experts to discuss business opportunities after the pandemic.

Cleber Cuzziol, CEO at MV Risk Modeling Solutions and Committee Vice-Chair, will be moderating a panel discussion with Maura Kawai, Senior International Trade Specialist with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Commercial Service Los Angeles, and Felipe Luís Ody Spaniol, Coordinator of Internationalization Services in the International Affairs Unit with the National Confederation of Industry (CNI) – Brazil. The experts will provide insight into Brazil-California trade relations and support members of the BCCC when navigating the post-COVID global economy.

As an important trade partner, in 2019, California had over $1.3 billion in exports to Brazil, and Brazil is currently California’s 25th largest export destination. The trade partnership between California and Brazil is a lucrative one that the BCCC continues to strengthen and guide in these uncertain times, especially in light of new trade agreements signed between the governments of Brazil and the United States. Please join our career experts and representatives from the BCCC community, U.S. Department of Commerce, city of Los Angeles, and Brazilian confederation of industry in this webinar to learn more about current financial markets and new business opportunities in the post pandemic world.

The International Trade and Logistics Committee will continue to host regular forums to facilitate discussion and introduce opportunities to help members of the BCCC community have access to official statistics, clarify foreign trade rules and procedures, and connect authorities, ports, airports, tradings, logistics companies and other important players in the two countries. Stay connected with the BCCC for important information regarding the business initiatives between Brazil and California.

The online webinar will be held on Wednesday July 15th at 12:00 PM (PDT) / 4:00 PM (Brasilia GMT).The event is complimentary for BCCC Members and requires a $20.00 fee for non-members. REGISTER HERE
