BCCC announces the start of an amazing project of virtual soccer games streamed on the main media in Brazil

The project has been developed by Daniel Gamba, member of our Sports Commission and Soccer Director, and it takes an important place amid the "stay at home" worldwide campaign regarding the Covid-19 pandemic. Great soccer players will be facing other players not with the ball rolling on the fields, but by using video games joypads and showing to the world that they also have some great virtual skills. It is a new role of sport in our society and an important contribution to the e-sports world and all the players are disputing the "Golden Joypad". The matches will take place on Thursdays and Fridays at 5:30 pm (1:30 PM PST) and on Saturdays at 4:30 pm (12:30 PM PST) and SporTV and GloboEsporte.com are streaming all matches.

Brazil California Chamber of Commerce and Portal Exibidor host 5-day seminar addressing the Brazilian Entertainment Industry current situation and strategies for the post-pandemic.

In the midst of the pandemic and the significant adjustments in the Entertainment sector, the Brazil California Chamber of Commerce (BCCC) and Portal Exibidor - sponsored by the Motion Picture Association of Brazil (MPA) and supported by CQS (Cesnik, Quintino & Salinas) Law Firm - is organizing a full week of panel discussions with industry experts to address the current challenges and future opportunities in the post-pandemic. Titled "Entertainment: managing the crisis and planning the future", the webinar runs from Monday May 11th to Friday May 15th, from 12pm to 1pm PDT, 16hs to 17hs in Brazil. The meetings will be broadcasted live via Zoom, and will be delivered in Portuguese. The outstanding lineup of speakers include Sergio Sa Leitao, Secretary of Culture of the State of Sao Paulo; Laís Bodanzky, President of Spcine (São Paulo Film and Audiovisual Agency), Andressa Pappas, Director of Governmental Relations of MPA, and many others. The event, according to the organizers, will not only assess the impacts of covid-19 but also offer an opportunity to hear from government officials and industry leaders how the sector is planning to adjust to the new norms and to the reopening of the economy.
