Tonks strengthens commercial ties with Hollywood

Tonks, a leading company in the field of audiovisual consulting announces its affiliation to BCCC – Brazil California Chamber of Commerce. This union amplifies the possibilities of commercial relations and necessary institutional partnerships between Brasil and the U.S., and especially between the states of California and São Paulo.

The affiliation translates into an ample partnership between BCCC and Tonk’s two leading products: Expocine – the film industry’s largest convention in Latin America and the Magazine Portal Exibidor – the most complete publication on Brazil’s audiovisual market, along with its Spanish language version, the portal Exhibidor Latino, relating to countries in the remainder of the Latin American region.

“Affiliating ourselves to BCCC is an important advancement for Tonks, who is always looking to be a step ahead in business affairs and solutions for the audiovisual in Latin America”, Said Marcelo J. L. Lima, CEO of Tonks. “It will be very important to be able to count on the biggest names of the most well-respected film industry in the world, Hollywood”, he completes. The actions of this partnership will be disclosed in the next few months, making it possible for there to be an exchange with reciprocal engagement between companies, technology and support management; commercial representation; a constant update of knowledge between the service providers for the audiovisual market; and the promotion of discussions and debates for the entire sector.

“We are delighted with Tonk’s affiliation to the Brazil California Chamber of Commerce, and we are looking forward to the future prospects of this partnership. The Tonks-BCCC relationship has developed organically in the last few years with participation and involvement through various initiatives in our Media and Entertainment Committee in California and Sāo Paulo, and today we celebrate a new phase in this collaboration and bilateral development in both the Brazilian and American audiovisual market”, said Felipe Cusnir, President of BCCC.
